Mary Kristin Nelson Illustration
Mary Kristin Nelson is a full-time designer and freelance illustrator braving the elements of Minnesota, having fun being a cover designer, formatter and tea junkie for Mill City Press in downtown Minneapolis. In her free time, she does children's book illustrations for various authors.

Mary loves to draw and make pretty things, as well as take care of her snotty little cat, smoke cigars with her sweet fiance' and fellow designer Ben Ross and sit in front of bonfires on warm summer evenings drawing.
She is also an unofficial volunteer at her local Humane Society.

If she could have any superpower it would be to be invisible.

Mary's work has received awards from the Society of Illustrators Los Angeles, the Society of Illustrators New York and the Brass Ring Awards Competition in Oklahoma.
Her work has been shown in the Minneapolis Star Tribune, the Minneapolis Institute of Arts, The Nucleus Gallery in Los Angeles and the Museum of American Illustration in New York.
